On January 11, 2013, an appraisal meeting was held in Taicang, Jiangsu Province for the thermal and hydraulic test bench for the C-type sealing ring engineering samples, special materials and nuclear grade seals of the reactor pressure vessel of PWR nuclear power plant jointly developed by Suzhou Baohua Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. and China Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. At the appraisal meeting, the opening ceremony of "nuclear level static sealing Laboratory of national energy nuclear power plant nuclear equipment research and development center" was held.
Huang Li, deputy director of the science and Technology Equipment Department of the national energy administration, and Huang Wen, vice president of the China Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute, inaugurated and congratulated the nuclear level static sealing laboratory.
"Nuclear static sealing Laboratory of national energy nuclear power plant nuclear equipment research and development center" is mainly engaged in the research and development of core and key sealing technologies in the field of nuclear power plant, aiming to promote the process of nuclear power plant assembly and parts localization in China, accelerate the development of nuclear power industry, and solve major energy technology problems of overall, strategic and forward-looking. To provide technical support to promote the localization of nuclear power equipment, clean energy and environmental protection, and to serve the national nuclear energy strategy.
The completion of the unveiling ceremony marks the official settlement of "nuclear level static sealing Laboratory of national energy nuclear power plant nuclear level equipment research and development center" in Baohua company. So far, Baohua company has added a scientific and technological innovation R & D platform, which is of great significance to the independent innovation ability of Baohua and the faster development of R & D construction.
